The Redskins, the Wilson Building, and Crockett Facilities Services

Prior to last weekend’s playoff game against the Seattle Seahawks, Washington DC Mayor Vincent Gray made a friendly wager with Seattle Mayor Mike McGinn. The bet: the losing city would have to fly the other city’s flag for a day.

When the bet was made, Mayor Gray said he was confident it would be Seattle flying Washington’s flag, bringing up the fact the Seahawks had not won a road playoff game since 1983. However, as any Redskins fan knows, last Sunday the Seahawks defeated the Skins 24-14.

Well, as Mayor Gray wrote on Twitter, “DC is good on its word. Raising the Seattle city flag over the Wilson Building today.” The flag of Seattle will fly until 5:00 p.m. today, Thursday, January 10, 2013.
