Our Principals

Cynthia Esparza Crockett, President
President and owner since 1999. Cynthia drives the marketing, human resources and financial management aspects of the company. Cynthia earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration from George Mason University and Juris Doctorate from The Catholic University Columbus School of Law. She is licensed to practice law throughout the state of Maryland. Cynthia is a member of the Maryland Hispanic Bar Association and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and has served as the Vice President of the Mid-Atlantic Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Prince George's County Chapter in Maryland.

Mark Crockett, Vice President
Vice President since 1999. Mark leads strategic planning, business development, field operations and client and contract management, bringing over 25 years of federal contracting experience with a focus in facilities operations and maintenance. Mark holds a Masters Certificate in Government Contracting from George Washington University. Mark is on the Board of Directors for the Mechanical Contractors Association (MCA) of Maryland, is on the Board of Trustees for the Severance & Annuity Fund, and is the Committee Chair for the Education Committee. He is an active member in IFMA and IUOE Local 99 and has participated in Vistage programs.

Joe O’Neil, Operations Manager
Operations Manager, Facilities Management Services division, since 2008. Joe manages operations and maintenance, complete facility management and janitorial services for all areas outside of Maryland and Washington D.C. Joe has over 20 years of experience in the industry, including hands-on field experience, facility alterations, supply and service acquisition, safety processes and procedures, human resources and finance management, working with museums, Class A office buildings, campus style facilities, secure facilities, warehouses and airports. Joe holds a Stationary Engineer License, OSHA 10, OSHA 6000, CFC Universal and BOMI FMA designation. He is a member of ASHRAE.

Rob Roper, Regional Manager
Regional Manager, Facilities Management Services division, since 2010. Rob manages operations and maintenance, complete facility management and janitorial services for Washington D.C. and Maryland. With over 25 years in the industry, starting in HVAC installation, Rob has managed the operations and maintenance of mission critical research and development laboratories, national treasure and record storage, airport operations, financial data center operations and health care facilities. Rob holds Master level trade designations in electrical, HVAC, plumbing and gas fitting disciplines. Rob earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Saint Leo University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland University College.
Tim Kraus, Service Operations Manager
Tim manages mobile HVAC service agreements, emergency service response, equipment repair and installation.

Lauri Crumback, Office Manager
Office Manager since 2007. Lauri manages the cash flow, accounting software programs and all administrative aspects of the company, including participating in strategic planning and community involvement projects. Prior to CFSI, Lauri was a bookkeeper at various companies. For over 20 years, Lauri has worked in the wardrobe department at The Kennedy Center Opera House.
