Mark Crockett Installed as 2019 President of Mechanical Contractors Association of Metropolitan Washington
Lanham, MD—Mr. Mark Crockett, Crockett Facilities Services, Inc., was installed as the 2019 President of the Mechanical Contractors Association of Metropolitan Washington (MCAMW) on January 7, 2019.
Mark Crockett, Vice President of Crockett Facilities Services, Inc., has co-owned and operated the company since 1999. With over 30 years of facilities contracting experience, Crockett leads Strategic and Financial Planning as well as Business and Senior Team Development.
Crockett attended the United States Merchant Marines Academy as a Third-Class Engineering Officer. Responsible for the operation, repair, and maintenance of all main propulsion, auxiliary steam, and diesel systems; he managed electrical power, portable water, ballast and cargo, refrigeration, fuel and oil, and other necessary mechanical needs.
In 1982, Crockett joined the mechanical service industry as a Building Engineer with ISS Energy Services. Handling all mechanical needs, Crockett managed 1 million square feet of commercial office space.
Mark Crockett is husband to Cindy, and is a proud grandfather to Charlotte Rea Crockett, born on January 1, 2019 to parents Zachary and Chelsea Crockett.
In addition to his presidency at the MCAMW, Crockett is on the Board of Directors for the Mechanical Service Contractors Association and the Mechanical Contractors Association of Maryland. Crockett is also the Treasurer of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 99.
